Job Brief
We are looking for Childminders to join our team. This is your chance to make a positive contribution to people’s lives.
A childminder can work in a variety of settings, such as within their own house, someone else’s home or within a community. You will care for a child (or children) giving attention to their social, emotional and physical needs, including:
- Literacy development through reading, writing and singing
- Creative development through art, music and activities
- Undergoing ad-hoc basic medical checks, e.g. taking their temperature and possibly helping with medication
- Maintaining personal hygiene (e.g. cleaning after feeding and changing nappies)
- Documenting information and reporting changes
Requirements

- Good English, numeracy and writing skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Your ability to understand and follow procedures
- Confident working alone and in a team
You will need:
- GCSE A-C in English and Maths
- Registration with either Ofsted or a Childminding Agency (CMA)
- A valid DBS check
Experience is not mandatory as we provide all the training you need to be a competent support worker. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable for this role.
